Going to drive-in to see Italian Job

This Saturday the San Diego Mini Club is sponsoring a showing of the original Italian Job at a local drive-in.

MINI-related question: listening to the sound at the movie will require that the car radio be turned on for an hour or two. Will this discharge the battery to the point that the car won't start? If so, there may be a couple of dozen MINIs stuck after the movie.

I hope someone owns one of these - see link below. I have an old Pontiac convertible that I drive a few times a year and I carry one of these in the trunk just in case - they work great!

You can also buy cheaper ones from Sears or other auto places.
