Brake issues R53

Lately i have been noticing that when I lightly press the brakes on my R53, such as just slowing down a little bit on the highway, the whole car has a pretty violent shutter. Then if i apply a good amount of pressure i can feel the brake pedal shaking under my foot but the wheel and rest of the car dont shake as much. Any ideas whats wrong?

I was thinking that it was the rotors...but no no dash lights on..is there anyway to check the rotors without physically pulling them off and inspecting them?

You can put a dial indicator on it and read the gauge as you spin the rotor. If its bad enough you may actually see the rotor get closer and farther from the pads as you spin the rotor.

Pull each of the front wheels and do a visual inspection. If you have any questions about what you see take a few pics and post them here for people to view. Your problem might be obvious once the wheels are off.

Took a look at it and the rotors are defiantly warped. Instead of going with oem or other plain surface rotors i'm looking into some nice new slotted/drilled rotors. I usually use outmotoring.com for all of my stuff but their rotors' are so damn expensive. I have found two other alternatives that are a lot cheaper. but i don't trust this first one because in the picture the bolt pattern is not correct and they keep mentioning it is for a "Mini Cooper Pepper"?

Also I found these which are from a company i have heard of and the website seems much better than the other one.

Please give me any input you have

I stayed away from drilled rotors because of accounts about cracks starting from the drilled holes. Slotted are good- lots of decent suppliers. I went with ATE and they have worked well...
