Sprint Booster

I just bought a Sprint Booster for my 2008 MCS. However, when I installed my car would just try to turn over but didn't actually start up, and then I got a yellow check engine light. When I removed the Sprint Booster and re-attached the throttle wires the car started up fine as usual. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the Sprint Booster to work?

Make sure you didn't plug the connector in backward. I know it's hard to do, but it has been done before.
Otherwise contact who you got it from and get a replacement.
