The latest clinical study has confirmed a common phenomenon often occurred among many soon-to-be MINI parents. This rare state of psychological disorder is diagnosed as can't-wait-for-my-MINI syndrome, which is quite rare with non-MINI parents. Here are some of the common symptoms describing this syndrome:

- uncontrollable urge of euphoric state with fatiguing of certain facial muscles, specifically the ones responsible for grin that looks like
- constantly logging onto MINIUSA to check for order status, which often occurs several times a day
- endlessly searching and downloading every possible pornographic photo of the MINI from the web
- spending countless hours on forums like NAM and MINI2 in search for comfort and support
- wandering off to the local MINI dealership without any apparent reason
- cannot stop staring whenever encountered a MINI on the street or parking lot
- have a garage full of MINI accessories, but no place to install them

In a relentless search for a cure, I'm looking for volunteers who're currently experiencing or who have previously exhibited the symptoms as described. If you have experienced any unusual activity or emotional sensation as a result of this syndrom, please kindly report your personal experience here!

Only thing after that is the front mount intercooler and the Unichip piggy back ecu, which are on order.

*RAISES HAND*

I find myself cruising through parking lots looking for MINIs and going an extra few blocks out of my way to get home on weekdays because I know where a MINI is parked during school hours and I can get a MINI fix. Unfortunately the nearest dealer is 100 miles away. *sigh*

I also have downloaded all the pics I can find, searched the internet for any and all info I can find, check in here daily, configure a new MINI every week or so (sometimes more often), and wish the next 12 months woud just hurry up already!

At least now I now what's wrong with me! LOLOL!

Hello Doctor? I'm afraid I exhibit all the symptoms on your list, and some others as well. Almost every night I have dreams about driving my MINI, I've started handwashing and detailing my truck ( a previously unheard of activity ) and I find myself madly waving at total MINI driving strangers.

Is there any hope for me, Doctor? I hear there is only one known cure, its months away and I'm not sure I'll make it....

As far as I know, a permanent cure for this syndrom has not yet been discovered. The symptoms usually become more pronounce as the delivery date draws closer. In some cases, some of the symptoms like (uncontrollable grin) will only get worse even after the delivery of the car.

Doctor... ain't there something I can take?
I said, Doc-tor... to relieve the belly ache.

I took the MINI and the Cooper nut and mixed them both up.
I took the MINI and the Cooper nut and mixed them both together.
I took the MINI and the Cooper nut, now make feel all better!

I said... Whaa-aaa, ain't here somethin' I can take!
I said... Whaa-aaa, to relieve the belly ache.

He said, "You take the MINI and the Cooper nut and mix them both up.
Take the MINI and the Cooper nut and mix them both together.
Take the MINI and the Cooper nut AND YOU'LL FEEL ALL BETTER!"

I'm "On Order" and losing friends fast. Many of my buddies (that have never had the MINI experience) are sick and tired of me contemplating every last detail and accessory. After 1,250 miles, they'll learn...

I usually don't swear. But I find myself saying &*%^!!!!!! At least three times a day. The once when I check MINIUSA, and it laughs at me and says, "On Order" and then the other two times to that annoying ASK MINI jerk that keeps telling me that there is no confirmed production date, and I just know that the auto computer is smirking and laughing at me and I just want to jump through the phone and ring his neck.

I will never get off of "On Order" - I will never hear anything but, "Your vehicle is scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet." &*%^ you!!!!!!!

Yes, I have it bad. I have pics of a beautiful IB/W MCS all over my cube here at work which just makes the agony worse.......

I've got it bad.

My coworkers and friends think I am obcessed, they don't understand, it is a disease. I actually was telling this guy I hardly know about my order last weekend while shopping. He didn't care, thought I was nuts.

My boyfriend rolls his eyes every time I mention it. I try to be mellow about it but... I think he is getting a little jelous.

My Husband sorta understands - and considers it a boon that we can talk more car stuff together. On the other hand, my children think I'm crazy.

I think everyone at work thinks I'm crazy too. One entertaining thing that helps once your Mini is on the water is play with the OceanWeather.com site and watch the boat move every 6-12 hours. Mine just got to New York today after watching it for about a week.

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic agnostic insomniac who sat up at night wondering, "Is there a dog?"
