Hi there, lately I've been taking my car to the track and I think I might become addicted! I was already planning to remove the A/C (getting the A/C delete bracket), straight design exhaust (I have all the parts, minus some fittings), I've removed the rear seats/brackets 2 years ago and I've removed the battery box, but still need to get a lighter battery which is good for daily driving and that I can mount on the side.

Now, with four track days behind me, I have some crazy rattling noises coming from the sunroof. So it's pushing me even more in the deleting idea. I don't plan on doing it this year, but I'm wondering how much work does this involve. I know that you can buy a roof skin with no sunroof (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/diagrams/b/v/250.png), but what is needed as extras (brackets and such)? I remember seeing a thread with a ''re-skinning'' picture and if I remember correctly, it was posted by WMW, but I can't find it. I also remember reading that it wasn't the first one they were doing. So... I want to know the cost of such project. My Mini is my ''summer'' car and I plan on making it street legal track car. I don't like the trailer queen idea, so I will keep it legal. Thank you!
