How do I select Podcasts on 2012 Mini coupe standard radio

There is no selection for podcasts on my radio menu ? Is there a way to get to them without scrolling through all of my songs on my ipod (iPhone) because that is the only place I can see them ?

I had this issue to. The only way I found around it was to create a smart playlist in Itunes for each podcast. Then they just show up as normal playlists.

If you have MINI Connected, Podcasts in iTunes will show up in the list of Genres.

Right, but then you have to drill down and when you do, all the podcasts are in one folder. I think its easier to set up the playlists once, and then you just have to select the ipod and they are all right there. But, I listen to podcasts more than music, so convenience and ease of jumping around are important.

On the standard radio, a podcast is just an audio track like any song. As others have mentioned, you'll have to organize them yourself with playlists.

Popcast is a Genre, so on the Boost radio it can be accessed by hitting the "GEN" button on the main display.

SmartPlaylists are a great solution

I followed a couple of on line tutorials to set up smart playlists which are essentially playlists of my podcasts that are always updated with the new podcasts every time a new episode is released it gets added to the smart playlist at time of sync.
How the designers of this radio overlooked a podcast button is just baffling to me.

Thank you Beau M for the perfect suggestion!

No problem! I have mine set up so it only keeps the 3 newest episodes of each podcast that I have not listened to yet, just so I don't clog up my iPhone.
