why are there two different NAM marketplaces?

why are there two different ones? There is a link to "Marketplace" on the left side of the screen under "Main Menu" and then a link to "Market" near the top right below the North American Motoring.com logo.

Wouldn't it better to consolidate them into one?

And does anyone have trouble posting to the "Market"? I set up an ad but when I hit submit, it just takes me back to step one. Tried looking under guidelines but no mention to it and the NAM Help link seems to be broken.

I thought the one on the left was supposed to replace the one up top, but that obviously hasn't happened. I prefer the old one (top), because the listings have pictures.

That's because many still find the search function in the older one more reliable.
And many are able to easily find the old marketplace first and easily maneuver through it.
And the old marketplace still has categories broken down by vehicle generation and trim levels unlike the 'new' marketplace.

Some site feedback threads on the marketplace debacle:

Now, choose your weapon to buy / sell your MINI parts.
