R53 engine rebuilt-now jerking?HELP

Hi,

i have heard that this affects a lots of minis and that the cure could be getting a new bpv.. well, heres what happend. i had to rebuild the engine cause of a faulty oil pump. i replaced the crank, the rods, the pistons, piston rings, water pump, oil pump, all bearings etc... i didnt want to get some junk yard engine and see that its in the same condition, since you really cant get a proper engine here in croatia.. the car actually works worse than before. it doesnt happen all the time, but if i stop at traffic light, sometimes the car will start working like one of the 4 cyilnders is not working... when i rev it, then it gets back to normal idle.. during acceleration, it kinda jerks, in every gear, but only when below 3000 rpm.. and it annoys me, cause im trying to see if i could save gas, since the car is wasting like 12l/80km LOL..
so, my question is, does anybody know what the solution for this problem is, and/or has anybody experienced such issues?

the second thing what annoys me more than the jerking, is the rear left brake.. before this engine malfunction, i took the car in to fix the brakes, since it had the same symptoms (every of the 4 calipers would work as they like), so, now, when its all assembled, its even worse. except the other three calipers are working i suppose normal, the rear left keeps pressing the plates or what ever it does to produce a high pitch noise, and as a lot of people, my teeth hurt to that sound.. sound similar to blackboard and a math teachers nails... only louder and at 130db.. so what can cause such a noise? the plates are new, the rotor is new..
i would highly appreciate your prompt answer, and please excuse my bad english.

THanks

Sounds like your map sensor on the intake is starting to act up, getting any codes?

Hi, sorry for the late answer.. the jerking is fixed now and the brake plates are supposedly fixed. The cause of jerking was a broken pipe somewhre in the engine bay, and the engine ecu was reading wrong values, and each time it read the wrong value it tried to correct the mixture of gas and air.. the plates were sprayed with some anti-squeeking thing, and im waiting now for it to wear off to see if it really stopped squeeking.
I want to know also, if it is possible for the part around the gear stick to heat up because of faulty injectors? can anybody suggest any injectors? thanks
