SSR Type-C RS wheels (set)

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

Selling my set of gunmetal grey SSR Type C RS wheels. These wheels are 17 x 7.5 42. They are 4H100 15 D. They were on my R53 when I bought it, but I took them off to put on R90s and put them in storage. They have around 12,000 - 15,000 miles on them. They seem to be in great shape except for a little bit of rash on two of the wheels. They are sold as is (two wheels are missing center caps, no lug nuts, faded stickers, etc). Best offer gets them.

It might help to at least name a price that would make you happy as a starting point. If it's too high, people will say so. If it's too low, they won't mention that. It might also help to post photos of all wheels, and indicate their rim width and offset.

At the SSR website 15" Cs are shown to retail new for $385 (5.5"), $395 (6.5"), and $400 (7"). Offsets range from 30 mm to 48 mm.

They weigh 14.7 lbs! The tires are coming off of them, they have no more tread life to them.

should be under $120 IF you leave the tires on. You can put cardboard between them and tape them together, I just did it when I shipped my RPF1's.

why would the shipping be cheaper to leave the tires on, wouldnt it cause the box to weigh more and then increase shipping?

The tires would serve as outside protection to the wheels themselves... Not saying that every Fedex/UPS guy isn't super careful with packages , but at least the lips and outsides of the wheels would be protected by the tires and the faces and backs by foam and cardboard.

Without tires, you would definitely have to Box the wheels up and put packing around them, making them bigger and bulkier in the box. Just worked out well for me everytime I've had to ship wheels.

i know but packing material would weigh less than tires... last time i checked foam peanuts dont weigh much.

Who knows the ups/fedex are always out to get us!!

Shipping to 07950 looks like it will be around $160... the website for calculating this stuff is confusing. the package would weight 58.8 lbs (rounded to 59 lbs). Let me know if you are interested and we'll get it figured out.

If you haven't taken the tires off, and left them on, at that tire size, the package should be (2 wheels taped together) 24x24x19 (in that range) and weight 59 lbs. Put those numbers into Fedex or UPS and it should be around $60-65 per pair. I literally just did this last tues night.

Honestly, I really want these and could even arrange pickup, but I just sold my RPF1's because I was in a bind, it's just not in the funds right now
