Coilover install morning with motoring magic

Ninja and I spent the morning with Scott @Motoring Magic installing my new to me KW Variant 2's, and I love them!

I previously had stock suspension with H&R sport springs but wanted something I could fine tune and get a little bit more aggressive in those corners

BEFORE:

I think these did the trick. Ninja feels awesome. I also thoroughly enjoyed the installation/adjustment process... Install... adjust... go drive Decker Canyon. Anyone from SoCal knows how awesome Decker is and man that was like the perfect testing ground for my new set up.

AFTER:

Couple runs up and a couple runs down and some fine tuning and man Ninja just feels more sure footed then ever. I didn't want it super slammed but did lower it about 1/2" lower all the way around then it was on the H&Rs. Set on about the middle dampening setting and its feeling pretty much perfect.

Scott and Steven were great and didn't mind me all up in the shop with my nose in everything. It was a great morning and I even think I learned a few things.

Next up is getting my new Team Dynamic 17 x 8 rims on... Ninja is going to feel glued to the pavement... I can't wait

Dez, to adjust the shocks, you have to remove the rear suspension right? Fronts adjustable from up top?

yes, that is correct. front dampening can be adjusted under the hood, but the rear must be removed to be adjusted.

i read elsewhere online that some people cut holes in the rear to be able to reach them, but i didn't like the idea of cutting holes...

I'll just have to go back to the shop if I want adjustments...
