Help turning off brake pad warning light

I scanned this forum and I couldn't find an answer so hopefully I can find an answer to my problem.

The warning light came on saying that our Brake pads needed changing. My son proceeded to replace the pads, rotors and sensors. I thought that once the sensors were replaced that the warning light on the dash would go out but no, unfortunately it still lit up. Can anybody tell me how to reset it or is there possibly still a problem?
.

I appreciate the information. I'll give it to my son and hopefully it will work even though it appears to be for a 2008-Gen2 Mini and ours is a 2007 R52 convertible S GEN 1 (which I should've mentioned before)

I found the solution! Turn the key to position 2 and leave it there for 30 seconds, the light will go out, and then you start the vehicle. Pretty simple solution. Thanks for our your help
