Memorial Drive for our late Motoring friend David Simmons
David loved to Motor in his MINI so the best way to honor him is to Motor for him.

Who: All ye who read this are invited!

What: Coffee, Motor, and Bowling in David’s honor!

Where: Alabama’s Eastern Shore/Spanish Fort Area

When: Sunday July 29th, 2:00 p.m.

Details: Meet at the Starbucks on HWY 181 at 2 p.m. PLEASE park behind the Starbucks in the Dillard’s parking lot! Depart at 2:30 p.m. and Motor for approximately 1 ½ through some fun twisties. Then arrive at Eastern Shore Lanes for some bowling fun around 4 p.m.

Caravan from Pensacola: Meet at the Starbucks on 9 mile & Pine Forest at 1:00 p.m.

Bowling Alley Details:
We can rent a lane for $23 per hour or pay by the game $4.75 per game. Shoe rental is $4 each. We'll figure it out when we get there.

Dave was a great guy, I can't think of a better way to honor him than to motor for him!

 

The Panhandle Mini Club will truly miss Dave. Debbie will have "Nimbley" and will be motoring with us. We want to have a grand turn out for Dave. Please join us if you can.

I wanted to put this announcement back on the first page to remind everyone around the Pensacola and Mobile area to join in on this memorial motoring for David this weekend.

 

Today was the day for the Memorial Run for our departed friend, Dave Simmons. We had 13 MINIs in attendance, including Dave's wife, Deb, driving his MCS.

 

Looks like you had a nice turnout and some nice rides there. Thanks for the pics!

 

Great run for our dear friend Dave. Poor little Nano made it home despite the intense heat. Nice pics James!

 

It was an awesome run. David would have and I am sure he did enjoy it. James thanks for sharing the great pics. Mungo, you, Teri, and Nano were fantastic.
RIP Dave, I pray heaven has some of the best motoring just for you.
