Sounds like you need to CALL them....
Posting on a public forum when you have not called them to find out the issue is in bad form to say the least...heck just plain stupid. Your credit card could have been denied due to an address mismatch or something.
Heck the items i have gotten from them have been shipped promptly and without issue.

Definitely call!
I've never had anything but excellent service from OM.
Something's not right here.

I'm not saying that they are trying to overcharge me or play games just would like a eta and regardless if parts are in stock 1 month is not acceptable . Then they should have Let me know before I ordered .

I've had good dealings with them. When I ordered my JCW alcantara shifter they let me know it was out of stock and had to be ordered. That didn't bother me since they had the best price + discount code. I didn't need it ASAP. When I received my order the discount hadn't been applied. I called them back and they took care of it promptly.

When you called them what did they say?

I'd give it more than a few hours since calling/emailing to shame them on NAM, there may be a good explanation.

I too have only had great service from them, I'm sure they'll sort it out for you.

Just ordered around $2k of mods, had one part that was broken, they reimbursed me for the cost of the body shop repair on it. They have a Customer Rights section on their website and I was curious to see if they would follow through on it. They did, no questions asked!
So, I'd try and call--again.

There is no shame going on . I could get more into it with another mishap they did but Aaron is a pleasure to deal with and they do give the best prices and which is why I was dropping $2K with them . NOW back to the subject at hand which is why was I told that I would get a tracking number on Monday and a week later no tracking or product . I called on Monday asking where my parts are box 3 out of 3 and was told they shipped it to the wrong address and that it was sent back to them . They had no idea what parts got shipped out and what parts are missing . I received 2 packages with no problems . I asked if all items are in stock and was told yes from day 1 . I called 2 weeks after I was told that the final box shipped out to inquire about my parts . I was then told again it was going out on Monday that they made a mistake and that I would get a tracking number . It is now Friday and I have no product or tracking and would figure that after waiting 1 month perhaps I can get a question answered . I ordered a set of rims and tires from tire rack at 3:30 Pm and got them the next day by 10 am . I ordered seats (freight 150lbs) from Florida and got them 3 days later with updates . I ordered stereo equipment and got it in 4 days no problem . I placed a order for everything mentioned above 2-3 weeks after I placed my order with OM . I am wrong for posting still ?

Ever think he was out participating in MTTS? Outing a business on a public forum is pretty shitty dude.

So you ordered $2000 in parts and got 2 out of 3 packages. The 3rd going to an incorrect address. Seems like you knew what happened and it wa juat bad luck that the 3rd was sent to the wrong address. I know that Outmotoring gives great prices and for them to acheive that they do use slower shipping sometimes. But I can deal with the slight delay for the good deals. All in all compared to the other companies you dealt with how many things have you ordered from them and how many for OM. No one is perfect and a lot of people know this and still support The mom and pops stores. Aaron is a great guy, and I am sure he would try and provide the best service he could, really doubt OM did anything purposely. Be patient a little longer and the reward will be well worth it.

Whatever you say . I am out $150 , 2 weeks without the mini and still did not get a simple email back which is the most important . Maybe you are use to this customer service but I am not . Some people settle and people pay for what they get . I contacted M7 left 2 messages and got a call a week later before I placed my order with OM . I would never buy any product from a company like that . I am sure that they did not have the whole staff at MTTS and if so leave a message on there VM or email reply system .

A simple email , text , call back saying "hey another week or so" "hey sorry forgot to send the tracking" would have been fine .

1. They sent the last package to the wrong address
2. 2 weeks go by and the package is sitting at there location "no one notices"
3. i have to call and they say the package is going out that day and will send me tracking
4. a week goes by and no tracking . I call/email and no call/email back

What this thread was intended to do was perhaps have a OM employee or affiliate see it and perhaps get me some answers . I waited a month I think that I was more then patient and understanding .

Louprez has every right to post his frustrations. Some of you might have had success with outmotoring but not everyone does. I would be pissed too if a company I purchased from took that long and lacked communication.

I had some issues with ordering from them as well. I ordered a few odds and ends and they had most of it in stock but because some parts were out of stock, they held the entire order. After I emailed them, they sent me the stuff they did have and I had to wait on the out of stock items. The entire order took something like 4 or 5 weeks. I wasn't too pleased with that, but I didn't really need what I was ordering, I just wanted it. If I were to have a need for something, I wouldn't order it from them. I'd look elsewhere.

On the flip side, they were pleasant to deal with. It was just really slow and they should let you know via email or a call to let you know that parts are out of stock. Or they should put that up on the site.

Yes, we agree this is not the place to post issues like this, especially after we have been prompt in our replies regarding the delays and ongoing shipping issues. Every vendor does have occasional issues and this is one of the worst problems we have had in recent years. What happened is a portion of the products from this order were drop shipped from our supplier in the west and we had (somehow) mixed up the customers billing and shipping address' so the 2 packages (which were promptly shipped) ended up sitting in a UPS warehouse for almost 10 days while they attempted to get the correct address. We were not aware of this until nearly 3 weeks later when the customer contacted us asking about the packages. At that time the packages were on their way back to the supplier in Oregon. It has now been redirected to the customer and is on its way with the updated address now. We have been in contact with the customer throughout this ordeal and regret that this mistake happened and are doing everything we can to get this ironed as soon as possible.

Folks, best bet is if you are in dire need of something always ask if it's in stock before you order. Many websites don't update stock and for smaller businesses this is almost always a guarantee. Also, many places will hold orders till they are filled before shipping. This saves money for both party's. Tell them when you order to ship what's in stock and ship the rest later.

I know we all get impatient in this age of instant gratification but mix ups happen.

Thanks Aaron,

As always, you and OutMotoring continue to impress me with your honesty and integrity.

No one expects things like this to happen. But sometimes they do. The difference is in how it is handled.

Keep up the good work.

Louprez,
Hope the misrouted goodies get there soon.

I concur. Outmotoring was good to me when I brought up the issues I had with them. I'd still buy from them again and plan to do so in the future. I'll just make sure I communicate more :-).

You can't fix a problem if you are not informed of it. Once you heard a box was late, you got it strightented out.
