front end noise 50mph

little accident happen two weeks ago, I drove off the road and damage my left front wheel. Nothing else got damage expect the front wheel, after replacing the the new wheel and two new tires and re-alignemnt, my car start to hum a little while speed reach 50-60mph, it almost sounds like a eighteen wheeler (not really that loud but similar to the kind of noise). The noise get a little bit more noticeable when it turn right, the steering wheel feel a tiny little vibration. . Noise level goes down once the car reach over 70+mph. I am wondering if my wheel bearing is shot or just the alignment issue.
any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

tony

Mal-alignment will not ever cause a noise unless it was so horribly off that the tire was having excessive diagonal scrub. In that case you would notice something was off because the car would veer off to the side horribly.

Anyways, possible wheel bearing. Did they replace the tire with the same kind you have on every other wheel? If its an off brand (cheap) then it could simply be a noisy cheap tire.

i have replace the same wheel and the same tire for the front. it only start to hum when the speed reach 50mph and the noise is a little bit louder when i turn slightly right.
I don/t think it is the alignment either since it drives straight.
so the wheel bearing.
I guess I should not drive it till it get fix.

I know the sound all too well. I had two go at the same time. Being a broke college student at the time, I couldn't get it fixed ASAP. One would make a noise at a different speed than the other one until you hit 60 mph. They would both make a noise and harmonize. It was the worse and almost made me NOT want to drive the MINI.
