EuroBerge Firefighter Water Run
EuroBerge Firefighter Water Run
To all our friends,
As you know, our beautiful state of Colorado has been hit with a heavy string of disastrous fires. From top to bottom, it feels as if there is no area not being affected by the flames, with families being evacuated, homes destroyed, and livelihoods put on the line every hour.
It is with these disasters that we need to come together as a strong community and help our neighbors, the firefighters, relief workers, and volunteers working every day and night to bring the destruction to an end. We here at EuroBerge have teamed up with Nissan USA to do our part and help all those in need, and plan on helping out as long as we possibly can. We are also reaching out to you, our community, to join us in these efforts.
Teaming up with local companies such as 3Zero3 Motorsports, Peak Eurosport, Hardy’s Motorwerks, BimmerHause, and others in an effort provide convenient donation points for water and supplies. If you would like to help but are unable to deliver any supplies, we have also set up a donate button at this link. 100% of the funds donated will be used for the purchase of cases of water and other requested supplies, and receipts will be provided for tax purposes.
Starting the week of July 2, we will start picking up cases of water and other donated supplies from the established locations to deliver to the operations in Fort Collins, Boulder, and Colorado Springs.
We cannot imagine how this fire has directly affected the victims, but we will do our best to show each person that we as a community are here to help them.
Be safe out there.

Great idea, worthy cause.
We've (MINI5280) been in the planning stages along the same lines for the last week or so, maybe this is a good way to combine contributions / donations without duplicating effort.
Anyone care to move the conversation from the Colorado fires thread to this one?

I don't have a problem with it. Others need to chime in.
I can merge the threads and try to keep Richards at the top.
Richard did you post this over on the other forums and FB.
Thanks - Don

Don -
i have posted across the forums we are regulars on, as well as keeping our fans on Facebook updated. In regards to donations or combining forces, I would be open to the idea, but we have already started deliveries of supplies to the Colorado Springs area, with two van fulls, totaling over 3000 bottles of water, countless cases of Gatorade, energy bars, and snacks. We have more pickups planned for later in the week as well (Bimmer Haus and Hardey's Motorwerks), as well as donations to use to buy even more water.
If this melds with your efforts, I welcome the combination, but if not, I understand. I just figured I would reach out to the community in an effort to bring us all together for a worthy cause.
Richard
We seem to be running a bit slower than your team of folks, so if we can combine delivery, we will.
For gosh sakes, don't wait on us.

I'm still waiting to hear from a few folks here on the forum in this area.
Safe 4h of July to you and yours.
Don
