When I'm on the highway with the windows rolled down, my stereo is not loud enough. What do I need to do to fix this problem? I love to jam. The modest limit on the volume is really cramping my style.
I have one 10" sub with a 300 watt amp.

 

Are you talking about the regular audio isn't loud enough, or the subwoofer?

 

Not the subwoofer. The audio. It is loud, but not loud enough. My friends r53 is way louder.

Though I need a bigger amp. It cuts out.

 

Well first off it would greatly help us if you told us what system you already had in the car, what year the car was and what options you have as all of that can make a big difference in what you need to do.

Second of all is that all the answers are 99% chance already here and if you were to search and read thru the treads you would be able to get a great idea of what needs to be done.
