Autocrossing a Mini Convertible

I would like to autocross my 2012 Mini Cooper S Convertible and wondered if any one else has and how well it behaved? I am not looking to win a national championship, just enjoy my Mini. I have been autocrossing on and off for 30 years in all kinds of cars, but never a convertible (at least not one that wasn't designed to be one). Mods will be minimal, some tires and an alignment, will stay in stock class. Mainly wondered how much flex I can expect?

I'm planning on doing the same. Guess we'll find out together how they handle!

If your in tune with your car you will notice it.. Not sure if you added the TSW X-Brace under your car if that would knock you out of the stock class or not..

Ran my first auto-x in the vert a couple weeks ago and it really handled it great, especially for not being a hardtop. I only noticed a tiny bit of flex a couple of times, it impressed me for sure.
Here is my best run of the day:

There was a 2012 hardtop S with the JCW intake and exhaust that ran a 52.1 with a professional driver and I ran just under a 54.8 bone stock...so I was pretty happy with the time.

I've got a second one coming up next weekend!

Awesome - thanks for posting. I was wondering about doing this in a Convertible, and if that would affect the top operation over time (for example) by messing with the alignment.
