DuelL AG R56 Exhaust System

i emailed a distributor for duell in regards to their exhaust system and this is what they said.

Hi Eric,

Thank-you for your enquiry!

In regards to the R56 DuelL exhaust system it is a cat back system so it doesn't bolt directly onto the downpipe & doesn't require any cutting of your standard system to fit. The exhaust does give a better noise compared to stock & the tips i believe are around 3 inch.

I've included the pricing of this item below, should you have any questions or would like pricing or info on any of our other products feel free to contact me.

(Pricing correct w/c 18/06/2012 using the current exchange rate)

DuelL AG Exhaust System

The exhaust system comes in two different varients, the top picture shows the standard system designed for Cooper S & JCW Aero bumpers, the lower pic is the "Crown" system designed to fit with the DuelL AG bodykit.

Exhausts are made from SUS304 Stainless Steel

V1 - Exhaust System - $1619.00 inc shipping

Here is also a clip of the exhaust noise -

I was wondering if anybody has this catback and what you think about it but damn $1600 for a catback?

What a waste that it doesn't even bolt onto the stock downpipe. Go for an Akrapovic for the money like I did! CF tips ftw! :D

Sounds great! Great Japanese company, worth the price. However, I wouldn't spend $1600 unless it's eisenmann.

$1600 for a catback that gives you sissy gains. You'd be a fool to buy that.

yeahhhhhh, my jcw exhaust w/ second cat delete ($50 at local exhaust shop) + Riss racing DP ($250 from ebay) definitely sounds better than that IMHO....and it cost less than 1/5 which is hard to argue with.

Update: I will be ordering the Crown exhaust for my 09 MCS soon.Reason is that I am purchasing the DuelL AG body kit and the exhaust I have now will not work with the new rear bumper. The NM exhaust I have right now is a cat-back system, so, it is just a pricey trade-off for me. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do when you are buying products that not everyone is going to have. There is an exclusivity of sorts when it comes to owning DuelL AG products in the U.S..

You already have an amazing set-up....can't wait to see the end result I've decided to go with the NM exhaust. I love the quality and sound. Hopefully, it lines up well/perfectly with the Akrapovic DP.

Thanks. As a matter of fact, I was just on the phone with DuelL AG North America to get the rear bumper and exhaust ordered. The tough part, besides the cost, is waiting for 6-8 weeks to get it in from Japan.

You will be really happy with the NM system.
