Hi all, I have a quick question regarding what the stock 17" wheel offset is for an 07 Cooper S.
I've seen people say it's 40mm, and others say they are 48mm.

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm getting confused.
Were there different offsets for different years?

I think all 17" OEM wheels have ET48, except those for the R60 have ET50.

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I've seen a lot more people saying it's 48 vs. 40.

My guess is because there's quite a few more aftermarket wheels with a 40mm offset and they went along with what they have..

All of the 17s on there that have offsets (ET) listed are ET48.

I just looked on realoem at every wheel that is listed for a MCS and they list ET48 for every wheel that fits.
