I purchased a Cooper S yesterday
- Yellow with white top
-Heated seats, DSC III, On board computer, Rain sensor, multi function steering wheel.

I managed to negotiate $800 off the list price (Canadian)

The cooper S will be here in 60 days.
I noticed today that the dealer added $1600 for freight (Canadian). Is that the usual price?

I live in Calgary, AB Canada

Congrats on your purchace. I don't know how far you are having your MINI shipped but when I was in California and was looking to have a car shipped from the East Coast I got a quote of around $1000. I see now where some dealers are shipping for $500 anywhere in USA.

I bought my MCS from Hawaii and had it shipped to Ca for about $950
