Questions about ordering my 1st MINI
Questions about ordering my 1st MINI
Hi everyone,
I'm currently living in Dallas, TX but is moving to West Lafayette, IN in August. I plan to order a MINI and pick it up in Indianapolis in early August when I get there.
My questions are:
1. Should I talk to the dealer in Indianapolis, or in Dallas? Or can I do both to find a better deal? Since I'm in Dallas now, it would be easier for me to negotiate with the dealer in Dallas. But can I order it in Dallas and have it ship to Indiana? Is there extra cost for that?
2. What kind of deals are we getting these days? How much $$ off MSRP should I look for when I talk to a dealer? My configuration is ~$27500 MSRP now.
3. Would you recommend the NAV system? I like the looks, but not sure if it's worth the cost compared to just a GPS.
It's going to be my 1st MINI, and I'm really excited. Any other advice and suggestions are also welcome! Thanks a lot!

1. It's my understanding each dealership has an allotment of MINI's... I'm not sure who you should talk to, but the money will probably go to the dealership that gets the delivery since you are not paying for it until you receive it. It will not hurt to talk to the Dallas dealership to see what they say.
2. Each dealership is different... my experience is different that anyone else.
3. I'd recommend you stick with a smartphone for Nav... they are easier to change out and update their software.
