Does anyone know when its possible to order a 2013 mini? I'm looking forward to placing an order for one (S Convertible), but none of the 2012 colors are calling out to me.

Anyone know what the 2013 colors might be?

I'm pretty sure the 2013 colors will be exactly the same, if anything maybe 1 or 2 changes. Some changes also happen in March.

In the fall is when the new production year cars arrive.

 

Not sure if it will be the same as last year, but orders for 2012s started the week of June 20-24, 2011. Mine was the first 2012 at my dealership and it arrived the first week of August, 2011.

 

Ordered my Convertible S on 05/21/2012. I was told by my MA he did not know if my car would be a 2012 or a 2013 until the beginning of June. I told him I would happily wait to find out. He called me yesterday to tell me it would be a 2013. I went in today to make a few final decisions about wheels and interior colors that I could not decide on. He told me my build date would be the 27th production week which he says is the first week of July. Delivery in mid august. So I am about 10 weeks away. Sorry for the long, muddled answer. So in short, if you order now it will be a 2013. Good Luck.
I think tonight I will start a new support group for those waiting for a 2013.

 

Wow, thanks for the info. Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but at least I wont be waiting around to place an order any more I take it there were no order changes between the 2012 and 2013 models mnypny?

 

My MA siad he does not think there will be any major changes. He said a package may slightly change. I will know within the next couple of weeks if I need to make any changes because of a wanted option moved into or out of a current package.
