Is the Mini Connected an additional option once you have the Nav system? I'm looking at a used Mini that has the Nav option and was wondering if Mini Connected is something that can be added or do some Nav systems don't have this option?

 

My understanding is (I have the mini connect). On the ones that can have mini connect (2011+), you can have CONNECT W/O Navi, but you cannot have Navi without CONNECT.

 

Nav= nav+connected

Connected = nav or no nav.
