Engine light / possible new recall
I was driving the car went to shift from 5th to 6th when I got engine light reduced power warning. Got to work, called mini, had the car towed, engine light went off. they kept the car for 24 hours, reset the car and it checked out fine. They are not sure what the hiccup was.
They also said soon a recall was going out over ball joints possibly not installed correctly. My car was fine and I was appreciative of the heads up. So far I have been very pleased with Mini. I am not sure how big the recall is but if your car was build end of 2011 maybe have them check it.
