New leather colorline wrap

Two enthusiastic thumbs up for a great NAM vendor. I love the stitching on the colorline of the Mini Yours leather dash, and since I couldn't find an aftermarket version I asked the folks at Redlinegoods.com if they could help a motorer out to get a similar look. They sure could! They created leather wraps for the stock plastic colorline pieces, complete with the stitching along the front edge. They did great work and I only wish my installation and photography skills were good enough to capture the fine craftsmanship.

FWIW Maciek had previously designed my center armrest and shift boot to go with the blackjack door armrests.

Aw shucks, Joanie - thanks! I bet your husband will think it's a bit flashy too eh? It seems like you and I have done some similar stuff. Love them both!

LOL Kirby, my sweetie drives a truck and doesn't see eye to eye with the MINI, so to speak, but he does indulge my choices for her. :-) He just rolls his eyes. But I DID catch him showing her off to our cousins a couple of weeks ago when he thought I was gone.

Your leather looks divine. LOVE the Blackjacks too. The chrome just sets it all off! Don't you love how driving at night, the lights of the city reflect off of the chrome? Like a tiny moving cityscape passing through the dash. You've made that car YOURS, it is as unique as you are, and not like any other, ever. Makes you happy every time you get in to drive it, right?

Yeah.
Oh yeah.

Nice touch, and it looks great! I have the MY leather dash in mine...it was all about the stitching, really adds a dee-luxe touch, more of a high-end feel.

Wow! It looks great. What a cool way to add a personalized touch to you Mini. I agree with JoanieB, the chrome really sets it off.

That is just what I've been looking for! How hard was the install?

Thank you all for the compliments! Joanie, I totally know what you're talking about with the chrome. My commute includes a couple tunnels and I love how the light plays off of it when driving through them.

Installation wasn't too bad, and I'm mostly a novice when it comes to car mods. I used the instructions for installing the aftermarket OEM chrome dash parts, which was a huge help:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...it-how-too.pdf

Redlinegoods had me write up instructions for them too, so I tried to simplify it a little (e.g. no A-pillar removal). You can see here what's involved.
