General question:

I'm looking to get Samco hoses, either coolant or boost tubes.

Any thoughts/feedback on which set to get first? Benefits these other than aesthetics?

I heard that the radiator hoses are awesome and that they keep it running about 2 to 3 degrees cooler(that is F not C). As far as boost tubes they really aren't that much different then the Alta ones. Though the Samco have different colors and might be a little bit better quality.

 

They are excellent. I have them on my R53. I have them in blue. I don't know about keeping it cooler, because when I installed them, I also installed a new Mishimoto aluminum radiator at the same time. For looks alone it was worth it to me.

 

That is what one of the guys from Detroit tuned was telling me. I will when I get a chnace and da money will be doing the Samco hoses.

 

i am doing the air hoses now, and will do the water hoses at the first scheduled coolant change ... no sense dumping fresh coolant
