So we've been a 2-MINI family for a couple of years now. As of today, one of those is a Surf Blue/Black CM S All4, replacing the wife's white Clubby. We've been talking about it for awhile now, as we wanted just a little more room for the doggy-types, and in the winter she really misses the AWD she traded for the Clubby. We went to the dealer today kind of by accident, on account of I got the date wrong on the local Test Drive Take Down event (I thought it was today, but it was yesterday - FRIDAY!). But Jessica our favorite MA was there and made a very workable deal, so away we went.

I'm really impressed with the ride. It doesn't have quite the zip as the Cooper or the Clubby S's, but it's no slouch, either. The handling I think is what they really nailed, though. It's comfortable and quiet, but still very nimble around corners. I haven't plowed through an on-ramp with it yet, but it feels like it'll do just fine. Mama's happy with the most expensivest Mothers Day present she's ever gotten, so that's all that matters, right?!

I did an onramp today from a 50MPH highway to a 65MPH freeway accelerating through the whole turn. It does just fine
