Curious to hear if it is using the N14 or N18. Assuming its a tuned JCW N14.

I can honestly say i'm not a fan. I'm sure it's fun an fast, but the WC50 was better looking and this is just sticker'ed up.

Wooof! Looks like what happens when a little girl breaks into her mother's makeup kit.

Love the paint color. Don't love the vinyl, but that just peels right off.

Comment from the OP's link:
"Before I only had enough Mini special editions for each day of the week. Now I can drive a different one for each day of the month."

No, I believe it's decal. I could do without that and don't see the aesthetic of it. The rest I like!

I'm betting that's where the car number will go once it goes into production

Why couldn't they create a special limited edition GP that was just a little more stealthy? It is just way too tarted up in my opinion. I'd love to have one, but no way I'd want it to look like that, and pulling off all the decals, etc. would kill the value. Regardiing N14 vs N18, I am betting it is an N18. I expect the JCW's to have the N18 engine for 2013 also.

8:20 ring time, full undertray, rear defuser, Recaro seats, 6 pot brake calipers... Hardly just stickered up...

Nice specs. But a little too riced up looking for me.

Wonder if the improved aerodynamics will make their way into any more of the 2013 lineup.

Better yet - seems like we'll finally start hearing about what MINI has in store for 2013.

I hear a lot of people bagging on the vinyl applications. Trust me on this: Over time these will sell out and be just as sought-after as the original GP. i don't think gray would be my first choice of color but the performance mods are just too big to ignore so I'll take one. It doesn't look the least bit Japanese to me as all I am able to see is a thoroughbred MINI.

It's only 1 min off a Nissan GT-R or Corvette ZR-1.

Or for more perspective, it's about the same as a 2010 Camaro SS and Lotus Exige S!

I just want the GP Spoiler to add to my R56 S. It looks subtle and appearing versus the JCW Spoiler and it is a smaller version to the M7 Tuning Spoiler. Does anyone know where I could possible find and purchase the GP Spoiler?

It might be a vin specific thing, not just an off-the self that anyone can order at the dealership for 3 times the price of a typical S spoiler..
