New/Old to NC

Just moved back to CLT after 6 years in DC. Had a lot of fun with my DCMM and CM3 folks up there and looking forward to meeting a bunch of y'all down here.

Last time I lived here I only had my beloved Blue Thunder, but I added my Clubbie to the fold 2+ years ago and couldn't be happier.

But ALAS, I have begun having the dreaded clutch issue. It's time for the extended warranty to do its duty.

I've seen horror stories here on NAM about dealer service and replacement of clutches.

I just wanted to get a feel for anyone's dealings with Hendrick MINI. In DC, there were three dealerships fairly equidistant from me and I could choose where I went for service. I've got few aftermarket parts (intake, etc) and I just wanted to see if they were cool. One place in VA wouldn't touch the car another would install almost anything I brought in (although I do my own installs).

My mom ('07 S cab) has had some not-so-great experiences (but she complains about everything anyway).

So any feedback is appreciated. I hope to see you around.

I have been dealing with them since August of last year with no issues. Contact Stephen Lane (***) or Dana in the service department. They both have all ways treated us well. good luck and welcome back to NC.

I've never had any issues getting warranty work done at Hendrick and my cars are highly modified. As Rick said, get with Dana in service. We will be heading over there next Saturday after our monthly breakfast if you would like to be introduced in person.

Here is the thread about the breakfast:

Hope to see you soon and don't forget to send in your membership application if you haven't done so already.
