More than 245 hps just with bolts on?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows if the R56 S with downpipe, alta intake an accessport can do more of 245 hps?
Just because one of the members of a mini club here in Mexico who lives in Los Angeles is saying that his clubman just with this things can do this...
His clubman S is 2011-2012..
And his mechanic is in North hills. Los Angeles Steve's auto clinic.

Cheers everyone!!!

Is it a JCW? If not and it has the N18 motor then no Alta AP for it yet. Tune is done on a bench where you remove the ECU from the car.

If the Mini is a FJCW, yes 245+/- whp(at the wheels) and 275 +/-bhp(at the flywheel) can be had with bolt ons and a tune.

A cooper s n14 with aftermarket downpipe, intercooler and accessport will make 245+/- bhp and around 200+/- whp.

skip the alta intake because it will only provide a hot air charge which is not good for making power.Stock intake is the way to go for making hp

Depends on the dyno.FJCW with boltons without a tune and calculating for driveline loss, on a dynojet yes on a mustang maybe.

Cooper S with stock turbo only on a buttdyno or Alta dyno.

Ironic that you mentioned Steve's Auto Clinic since...Mustang owner pulled up next to me in Simi Valley the other day, and the first thing he asked me was if I knew about Steve's. Must be "THE" go-to place for MINIs in the SFV.

Long-haired redhead with goatee driving either a teal SN95 Cobra or a blue 70 fastback?

Nope, a brother...probably in his 40s. I'd say early 2000's dark (blue/purple) Mustang with a loud exhaust.

So the only alternative that his car can made that hps is if his car is a JCW?

It was a longshot, but I had to ask. I have a friend living in Simi. He's the one who got me into MINI in the first place by "forcing" me to drive his R50. He was in L.A. (Sherman Oaks) back when he had that car.

You won't believe this, but I crossed a blue '70 Fastback, with red hair behind the wheel, nearly a block from my house here in Simi. Will he know you by Blackbomber if I see him around sometime?

See I believe that mostly because of the tune and ported turbo not because of the bolt ons.

The turbo was definitely what put us over the top, but the catless DP definitely made a difference.
