03 dodge ram to 09 mini s...simply wonderful

Well as the title listed above I was an owner of a 2003 dodge ram 4.7l 4x4 and let me tell you the 14.7mpg highway was just painful for my commute to work. $20 would get you roughly 2 1/2 trips to work and home...no where else... well after two years of this i had enough. Now, i can't help but smile when i see the 40.2mpg heading form and to work. Obviously this is staying below 3k rpms in non sport mode at around 60-65mph, but the difference in the savings in gas was completely worth the purchase. Now i find reasons to drive

just my 2 cents, ty for reading

Coincidentally enough my previous vehicle was an 04 ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi. The mileage was killing me...I hopped in my MINI on the lot at a dealership, immediately fell in love, and have never regretted it since. Though it is unfortunate when the roads here flood and I can't go anywhere . But that's my own dang fault for lowering it so much I suppose.

Hahaha. Yeahh hail is the worst, it's like nature's middle finger to nice cars without garages.

on our first mini we went from an 04 ram quad cab with a hemi to my wifes 2012. Night and day difference. She is super happy that she can park ANYWHERE. After driving her mini a few times i fell in love and saved up for a down payment on mine.

I park in the motorcycle spot at my apt, no one here has a bike and it's covered, and seeing as i'm the only vehicle that can fit and it's 10 feet from the door i figured why the hell not. mini = win

I went from an '09 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Crew Cab to an '04 MCS - talk about one extreme to the other! Don't mind not having the $170 gas fill ups or maneuvering in tight parking lots….

Love that
Being able to get in and out of any parking spot I have encountered so far had got to be one of the things I love most about driving my mini

dodge really has a lot of issues including the gas mileage and the performance wears off after a few years. my dad's ram is still doing great but he has to bring it to dodge shops every now and then since every time he drives it, something will go wrong. too bad for him. I was convincing him to switch to mini already but he doesn't want to give up the car.

That's exactly what I figured it costs me to drive my MINI to and from work when premium was $4.00/gal. I stopped thinking about it......
