Posting this at work, so as soon as I get home i'll post up pics of the bar.
This would be true if Way was the only supplier, or even the supplier i buy from. I scan NM's site because NM is who i bought the bar from directly. I can order from them and have the bar in 1-2 days due to me being only 1.5 hours away from their facility. I don't spend days on end searching for the best deal. If I come across it, great. Otherwise if i find a product with great review and i like it, i'm buying it.

Honestly, with this type of item that isn't really a wear item, if the bar still looks new with no blemishes or anything crazy and I was local, I would much prefer to buy it for $275 then the 299 + 15 shipping. Saving $45 to me is always a plus, even for an item that's used but could still look brand new and isn't something that necessarily "goes bad" over time.
As for supporting the vendors, I'm all for it. If this was deciding between purchasing a WMW strut bar and an NM bar if they were both the same design, sure, purchase the WMW to support our vendors. But there probably aren't many people who would be local to the seller and be like, nah I don't want to save $45, I'd rather give it to a vendor.
And this is the internet, prices are almost never set in stone, especially on used items. If you don't like the price, send an offer, worst case, seller says no...

I can offer your $ shipped. I too agree that too many people are selling used stuff for almost retail, this boggles my mind! i have been racing cars for over years and I have never seen such high prices for used equipment. there are even people who are selling their used spark plugs, come on give me a break. in my years of buying/selling/trading the general rule of thumb was that you could sell a competition part for about 50-60% of new ecost.. but hey, since i have a bunch of parts from my r53 that i am going to sell on here, i will follow the crowd..
RANTING AGAIN, MY KEYBOARD IS FKD UP SO YOU DID NOT SEE MY OFFER. I WILL OFFER YOU $225(that is 75% of retail) PLUS REASONABLE SHIPPING COSTS.
I HAVE BEEN RACING CARS SINCE 1961, DRAG RACING FOR 40 YEARS AND NOW AUTO CROSSING FOR 10 YEARS.
