Running errands today with the windows down. Have owned 2008 Mini S for about 4 months. First time today, noticed plastic rattle or clunk noise, near front right area of car. It is not rhythmic, it is not all the time. It sounds like plastic on plastic, and is sporadic.

I'm very paranoid. Not two weeks after I bought this car, the clutch burnt up, and cost me $1600 in repairs.

The noise happens no matter what I'm doing. Driving fast, driving slow, just going down the street. Noticed it most when starting from a stop at the red light.

What is going on??
