My daughter was rear-ended this morning on her way to work - she's okay, but her 2005 Mini has some damage. Does anyone know of a good body shop in the area?

Is D&M Autobody in Rockaway recommended by anyone?

Call morristown mini. They have shop they deal with right in morristown. Don't remember name of them but they did great work when my mellow yellow mini was keyed deeply.

 

Thanks - talked to Morristown and yes, they do have a shop they deal with. Passed it on to my daughter.

The person that hit her has Progressive insurance, and they are trying to get her to use one of their "preferred" shops....Morristown MINI is not on their list, and neither is the shop above....Progressive says that they can't guarantee the work of non-preferred shops.....seems a little fishy to me....

 

They go with the cheapest shops they can use, also make sure you demand OEM parts, and not equivalent parts, and make sure the invoice says O E M Parts, this makes a big difference if you go to sell the car later on.

Yeah the one Moriristown Mini referred me to did excellent work and pretty quickly too. ALso handled all the insurance paperwork dealings.
