Anyone have this problem? Red light blinks when top lowered.

 

So what else happens besides a red light blinking? And what year is the car?

 

07 convertable Cooper. When you lower the top the light blinks on and off in the button you push to lower the top. Does not go out till top raised.

 

Do the windows go all the way down? Do you have anything stashed in the boot that would keep the tray from setting properly or is there anything you've placed on the tray? Does it blink when you run the top down with the key fob?

 

Tray down nothing on it. Does it with the fob or without. Going 150 miles one way back to dealership today. Will update.

 

Sensor and bars in boot not properly aligned , should be good to go.
