Bonnet Light / hatch hood Light BLINK BLINK

Ive checked both the sensors and plugged them and re plugged them and then cleaned contact points.. still blinking.... and then sometimes staying a solid red... any thoughts?

No its the light on the Dash side the speedometer that blinks or lights up when your hood or hatch is popped.

so do these sensors go bad and when they do just stay on ... not sure what the deal is here with this blinking hood light.....

there has to be some sort of code
