Unhappy This is going to be EXPENSIVE........

It's been awhile since my last activity on the forum.. and it is with much somberness I am here today sharing the OUCH moment...

I blame the late season rain storm and parking post out of nowhere for this! (well.. and myself probably for not paying attention obviously.. but you didn't hear that from me! lol) This is going to cost me dearly as the damage is on the quarter panel right under the taillamp.

Curious: do you have rear park distance control? If not, do you think it would have seen it?

I am wondering if it's one of those things... like insurance. Not worth the money up front but pays for itself when you hear the beeps telling you there is a post where you can't see it.

That'll buff right out. Sorry for your pain.
At least YOU did it, and not someone else. Some malicious lil bastid scratched the roof of my car. It seems like they used a pin or something very thin. Claybar took care of most of it though

I just had a similar crunch fixed. Front drivers side. Had to replace the front bumper and wheel arch plastic, also had to get the huge dent beside the headlamp bumped out and reprinted. $1400 later it looks good as new. But I could've wept when I saw the damage.

Fortunately the head light was fine, to replace one advice xenon unit would have been $3,500 plus tax plus installation.

I totally feel for you.

It's going to be expensive...for your insurance company. You should only be out your deductible.

Ah, that's just a little bitty ding. It'll be fixed in no time.

Knock the corner off the car, and it takes some real work to get back on the road...and the adaptive xenon was only part of it...

I feel your pain. I had a front bumper scrape while the car was parked. Had to replace the front lower spoiler and have the bumper cover painted. I did, however, find out that the JCW from air dam or lower spoiler is actually $6 cheaper than the stock air dam so I went for the JCW; it's so much cooler looking on the Countryman.
