How to replace brake lines with stainless steel

I have a '05 MCS w/6spd. I want to replace the stock rubber brake lines with stainless steel braided ones. What is the best method without dealing with the ABS bleeding. I was told to take-off the brake reservoir cap and saran-wrap the top and replace the cap. Take-off the lines, replace and bleed system. This method would create a vacuum and fluid would not escape the line except at the bleeding valve on the caliper. Has anyone done this and what would be the best way if the above method is not true.

Thanks
