Hey guys, so I finally bought my first Mini which is also my first car that I myself purchased!

2006 Mini Cooper S - 35,000 miles - Leather interior - Xenon lights - Hatchback - 6-Spead Manual (Must Have) - Sunroof (not a fan of the cover for it)

Pretty excited. Rode around town a bit with my friend who owns a Liquid Yellow '04 Mini Cooper S (as you can somewhat see in the picture) with some aftermarket things added to it. It was pretty fun!

If anyone else here is from Vegas, speak up! I'd love to start doing more runs around town!

Though, I'm born and raised here so, the strip is just another place, also a last option to walk if I'm super bored haha. But hell ya man! cool! This weekend we should do a strip cruise, i work swingshift 3 to 11 so weekends are my free nights. Have you looked up the "SinCity Mini club"? One of their members caught me at a drive through and gave me a card. Seems like a pretty cool club but havn't been to any events yet.

I work swing too. I usually work 5-10 or 5-3. I thin I'm working 10 on Sunday so I'll be available at night. That's probably the only time though. I'll let my other mini cooper

Gotta say, good find. FYI, the '06 S w/ 6 speed Getrag is quickly becoming THE MINI to have. The engine and gear box are practically bullet proof. Take real good care of it and it will give you miles of pleasure. Locate a reliable independent shop and keep the service up to date religiously. Mine's a pure silver '06 cabrio with a few miles short of 60K. I'll never ever part with it. We just got back from an 1900 mile road trip and it ran like there was no tomorrow. I'm also OCD about detailing regularly and NOBODY else gets to drive it. Go to the Detailing 101 section and get familiar with Octaneguy's advisories.

I'm up for a ride this weekend, too. No job yet, interview on Friday, so keep your fingers crossed. Otherwise I am free anytime this week.
As for Sin City MINI Club, I'm a member. There are some great people in the club, and there are lots of benefits to joining. There's something going on just about every week, and coming up Saturday is Cars and Coffee, and then a DIY at a local shop. Even if you're not a member, you are welcome to come! If anybody else is going to Cars and Coffee from up here in NW Vegas, let me know and we can run down together!!

Yeah let's do a run this weekend. Sunday night I'm available. Every other weeken dayd and weekday I work swing from 5pm to later. We can all meet at a park and shoot from there. Off weds and thurs!

Oh yeah its poppin in the NW, Vegas especially, i just found out tonight about AMVIV and ive been here since 05 lol, never saw u Perry but if u see the only Cooper in vegas with red mirrrors honk back cause it def might be me.
