It seems to me that the MINIUSA Owner's Lounge is not showing the Countryman love. In fact, the whole thing seems woefully out of date. The page that shows the 'Top Idiosyncracies of your new MINI' doesn't list the Countryman. The Maintenance Schedule page doesn't list any dates after 2006. The Owners Manual page doesn't have any 2012 manuals. The Your MINI Videos page DOES have videos for the Countryman, which is cool. I think MINI needs to do more to make us feel part of the family, what do you think?

They have finally posted the owner's manuals for model year 2012.

 

'bout time, was there a few weeks ago and sent an email asking if they'd like me to take over maintenance. They are behind.

 

They are also behind in getting their iPhone app working again. It WAS fairly good, showed the MINIs whose owners also had the app in your area, or where ever you zeroed in on the map. The map itself was decent. You could "wave" at other MINIs, drop 'power pellets' for them to pick up, note good gas prices and good restaurants/viewpoints/etc, it was kind of cool. But apparently it never did work quite right, the 'waves' didn't come through to the other person, and then they did an update and it completely failed. Sigh. So many great ideas, if only they kept up with them.
