2002 Mini OEM Upper Motor Mount has studs both ends, different

I have an early 2002 Mini (non S) that when I went to replace top motor mount with a new one, there was no bottom bolt. The hole in frame for the bolt at the bottom of the frame had a plastic cover over the hole. Took it off, but no bolt. Could not figure how to get off. Then I tried punch to un-screw it, and it did. The bottom of the motor mount has a stud just like top, and there is a nut inside the frame it goes in. It looks exactly like one I got from dealer except the dealer's has theads on the bottom for a bolt. Dealer says there is no other listing. I've had car since 33,000 miles (now 131,000) and everything looks stock.

Anyone else see this and where can I get a replacement. I've got calls into Minu USA.

Maybe I have an early / prototype car? I got it used from Momentum in Houston, who has been dealer since day one.
