Rear Mud Flaps on an R53

Has anyone pulled this off? I think I saw some pics of someone who did it with R50 flaps, but the explanation didn't make sense to me. Could you use the later ones?

TIA

I have seen no evidence yet. And I cannot understand why a vendor has never made a set to sell.

I bought some of the front mud flaps and can tell you they keep the car MUCH cleaner. I don't have that dirt coming off the tires and shooting back along the doors and side-skirts. Good $20 investment.

What, nobody sells Mini mud flaps? That don't make no sense... Are you able to get them from the factory? The rear tires kick up so much water on your rear windshield every time it rains.

Here's mine...

Just for the record, they're next to useless. The schtuff up the back of the car comes from the vacuum behind the car as it moves through the air - not from stuff thrown directly up onto the car by the wheels themselves. All it takes is for the wheels to stir things up, and the car sucks dirt onto itself. Hatchbacks, SUVs, etc., are all the same. Make some mudflaps if you want, but don't expect miracles!

Those look good, Monsieur Applesauce. Too bad they don't get the job done like I'm sure we'd all like.

Guess that's why it comes with a rear wiper.

They look like Rally armor universal fit, I have the same ones. Useless on keeping the car clean but they look great. IMO

Thats what I found on another thread that most people use. $25 bucks so I guess its worth the test... another guy said that no they dont keep the car particularly clean but that the front ones do keep rocks from hitting the side panels... I guess Illl find out.

Holy crap.... it was way more work than I thought it would have been. They are done though and I like them for the most part. I'll throw up some pics later.
