Sore left arm - 2012 CM

Does any one know of a pad that can be placed on the driver's side door to rest my left arm on? I typically rest it near the window, but the hard plastic is not that comfortable. I saw a Roadpro velour look arm rest, but looked cheap. Any other solutions out there?

Some of my European friends would say, "How American!"

Agreed, for me it is the door "popup" that does not sit even when the doors are locked, digs into my arm. I have thought many times about grinding it down. . .

Oddly enough I was just thinking about this tonight. I hurt my arm when I fell while painting the bathroom last weekend and now it is really sore around my elbow. Tonight on the way home from the store I could barely stand to rest my arm on the window sill and then I moved it and hit the lock, ouch. It normally doesn't bother me, and I am in my car a lot, but b.c it is already sore it bugged me today.

I have noticed a worn out spot where you rest your elbow while driving. I am wondering if anyone else noticed and if anyone has done something about it?

After participating in a safer driving class at a raceway including high-speed cornering and collision-avoidance maneuvers, I stopped resting my elbow on the door...

I usually don't. I have a manual CMS All4 and normally have one on the steering wheel and the other near the shift. But when I am at a dead stop in traffic I find my elbow finding its way there. The elbow rest on the door is way to low which I would normally rest my elbow comfortably.

Found this that may work. Called an "Arm Restler".

It's like people are looking for things to complain about. Just drive and enjoy. Duct tape a pillow around your arm.
