On both rear windows, this is attached to it. I don't think it's an antenna cause I have an antenna at the top...

Can anyone tell me what are these?

 

HD radio antenna (no idea ?) or defroster are the only possibilities I can think of.

 

It's a Homeland Security tracking device. It's the only way they can keep track of you otherwise your MINI would get lost in the crowd.

 

Indicates your blind point of contact where you are most likely to clip or be clipped. LOL

 

I think it's an aftermarket cell phone antenna booster that the previous owner installled.

Honestly, no clue without being able to see in person.
Is it only on the one side? Does it have any wires running to it at all? If so, I would recommend tracing them as far as you can. Doubt it would be a side rear window defroster, see no use in one since you usually would not look out of those ones.

I know what it is!

its a "replacement" antenna, its for if you get those big spoilers, like the GP i think. bc those spoilers make you remove your original antenna mount!

Really?! Thanks for the heads up. I'm still puzzled though... I still have my long antenna on the roof. Radio reception is not that great so I don't know if all these antenna's are actually hooked up.
