I was going to go with H&R springs (i like the look), but due to my situation, it may be a LOT cheaper for me just to go with Alta springs. what is your take on the alta springs, and does anyone have a car lowered with them? pics?

thanks

Have you thought about the Vogtland springs, they dont lower as much and are beter performing spring, as well as lighter, im not knocking the altas, but these are closer to the H&R springs at around 250for the set.....

I believe the Alta and the H&R springs are the same product. Check with Randy about it. If your looking for a set of Alta's I have a new set in a never opened box very cheap. PM me if interested.

ok now we have some new scenarios.... a local shop ONLY carries alta springs, and with a discount on all "alta" products, the price of them would come to about $220. since that is considerably cheaper than all the other springs i had seen out there (plus i wouldn't have to pay any shipping), i was thinking i'd have to get the altas...

i don't think they are the same as the H&R b/c the H&R are purported to lower the mini the most, at about 1.25 and 1.00 respectively... the altas claim 1.00 and .75, respectively. i was saying i prefer the lower set.... but these prices you guys have mentioned sound great.

thanks

I would go with the H-Sport (Hotchkis) springs great price..better product. I had Hotchkis springs and other items on my 2002 Celica GTS and they are great products.

sold the GTS but I still have the Hotchkis lowering spings for the GTS if anyone is interested...
