Does anyone here use this app?

 

I'm curious too! I'm wondering if it's as cool as it sounds, or just a gimmick. I downloaded it to my iPhone in preparation for my new arrival...but wondering if I'll actually use it.

 

I downloaded it when it fitst came out and it had quite a few bugs but seems to work pretty good now.. typical MINI cuteness interacting with other iPhone users who choose to sign on.

 

I love playing around with mine and it was awesome when my VIN came in and my MINI wasn't just a ghost MINI anymore! But in my town there are only 2 others that use it and even when I'm in Houston I don't see a lot of people using it.
I think it could be a lot of fun if more people used it.

 

I've downloaded it and messed around with it. Kinda fun but not of great use. It is fun to see other owners and some, like me, have customized their car icon to match their actual car colors.

 

Does seem to be a little buggy. There's an iPod me, an iPad me, and for some reason we can wave at one another but cannot become one (me). The bread crumbs left at points of interest are informative, but I too wonder what the application does? Is there a manual, or is that a rhetorical question?

 

Rhetorical I'm sure. I've experienced the same thing. The ghost me and the real me....
