My Justa CM I ordered came with black door armrests, and now I want to switch them out for red ones..any ideas on how I can find/buy/install a set?

 

If it existed, you could buy the parts from a dealer, but according to the configurator there is no such thing as red armrests.

 

Im also interested to find out this info! I've seen pics here on the forum of a Coupe (I believe) that had the red armrests! I ordered the black/red leather/cloth seats but with the black panels. Red armrests would look great with this combo!!

 

How much do armrests cost? I didn't order them with my car - but might down the road.

 

Red door armrests are available for all the other MINI models -- hardtop, convertible, Clubman, Coupe, Roadster -- they share compatible door trim parts. But not the Countryman, which is built on a different platform and has different doors from all the others.

You can't even purchase door armrests separately for a Countryman. They are only available with the entire door panel: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...37&hg=51&fg=50, but in any case they only come in black.

 

That's sucks! Looks like I need to find a local upholstery shop then!

 

redlinegoods.com is one of the vendors here, they make nice looking leather covers for the armrests. Im not sure if they have them for the countryman yet, but it would be worth checking into.

 

We test drove a CM last week, the lack of door armrest, as compared to the HB, was a major disappointment. My wife suffers from a (right) shoulder problem and sitting in the CM she had no option for resting her arm. Believe it or not, that was a show-stopper for us :(

 

I second redline goods. I had them do some orange and blue products to emphasize the color scheme in the car and thy are great.
