UPS came with my Stoptech Big brake kit, new Ferodo pads for the rear and stainless steel rear brake lines. Same truck had my new 17" SSR anthracite comp wheels (13 lbs) with the new Pirelli Pzero Corsas. The plan is to put them all on tomorrow, but all I really want to do is blow off the rest of the work day, put them on now and get to the track!

Cool! Let's see pics when done!

Do those SSR's clear the Stop Tech's without spacers?

The need to pay for my toys!

I think the SSR's will clear without spacers - I'll find out soon. I'm not sure though that my OZ SL's that I use on the street will. And that might create a dilemna, I have spacers that would make them clear the brakes but the offset on these wheels is so extreme that if I use the spacers to clear the brakes they might start rubbing the fenders.

I know I needed spacers for my Chrono Evo's and the Stop Techs - have been thinking about yet another wheel selection and was curious as to what 17's clear. Thanks, and good luck with the install.

Cool, sounds like fun. I'm just glad that everything arrived in one piece or at all with UPS shipping them to you! Can't wait to see pics!

Cool. I have the SSRs but haven't pulled the StopTech trigger yet....can't wait to hear how it goes for you....been waiting for someone to try it and report. Eric at Helix had a look at mine when I was up there and said he thought there was plenty of room but he hadn't actually tried the StopTech/SSR combo yet (this was over a year ago). What color calipers did you get?

Update:
17" OZ Superleggera's won't clear with or without 5mm spacers
17 SSR Comps fit with spacers, rub the calipers without.

I got the black calipers, matches what I have going on with the car, and I thought it was already enough money without having to pay extra for red calipers.
