Isn't the Helix plates much taller than the oem top plate? I thought they should only be used with coilovers so you can adjust the front lower to offset the taller camber plate?

Anyways, post pics. It would be interesting to see your setup.

May not make a difference. I just got an email from the vendor that the Helix plates are out of production. Looks like I'll be going with the Vorshlag plates. I don't believe they raise the front end at all.

Yep. Vorshlag plates with perches for OEM sized springs should be near the same height as OEM top perches.

Are you going to run the Swifts with the JCW struts/shocks or will you be going to something else? I am a little surprised that you are changing from I.E. fixed plates to adjustables for a street ride.
I will be looking forward to your assesment of the swifts over the JCW springs.

I will be running the Swifts with the JCW struts and shocks. The springs were actually designed for use with stock shocks.

I still haven't made a firm commitment to the Volshag camber plates. My biggest problem with the IE fixed is that the front camber is off by -.5 between left and right. Right now they sit at -1.5 left and and -2.0 right. Maybe it's just psychological, but it bothers me. Of course, so does the thought of losing the more street friendly nature of the IE's. Still mulling it over.......any suggestions are welcome!

I guess I would have to ask you if you can feel the disparity now? Their is a very slight bit of adjustment you can get by pushing the drivers side fixed plate in towards the center and pulling the passenger side out, but it will not be much. Did you have any mushrooming before the I.E. plates were installed? If you do the adjustable plates you will probably feel some added NVH that you are not experienceing with the rubber mounted strut bearing. Also things have a way of changing. I don't know how long you waited to do the alignment after you added the I.E. plates but they can settle during the first few hundred miles. Your disparity may not be as much as you think now.
If it were me I would be inclined to throw those dollars at a set of Koni yellows or Bilstein sports. I think you would see a lot more for your money opposed to the adjustable plates for a street ride. I know that the Swifts were designed for the stock struts/shocks but they also mention that higher quality is a good idea. If I recall Koni usually has a spring sale on all of their shocks.
Good luck and waiting to hear the reports, Steve

I've decided to give the Volshag's a try. If I don't like them, I'll reinstall the IE's and sell the Volshag's in the marketplace.

Sorry that we couln't help you. We have some very expensive projects upcoming this year and can't invest in the older, slower-selling products. We'll make an announcement if and when we make more.

No problem Eric. I think I tried every vendor that advertised your plates and they were all out. Hopefully the Volshags will work out.

Just wanted to jump on the bus!
I've ordered Swift springs and Koni Yellows to be installed once I pull my car out of storage.
Interested in hearing your overall impressions.

The Vorshlag's arrived today! But I've been informed that the H-Sport rear camber links are on back order for now.

I love my Vorschlag camber plates, and run them at the max possible of -2.2 degrees neg camber since the strut tower metal won't allow any more movement. Considering cutting out metal to get more neg camber, but -2.2 is a good street/track mix. Also have KW Variant 3 coilovers (love them), rear H&R 19mm sway, and H-sport lower rear camber links to take out excess neg camber. Great stuff!

Might I suggest these, which are the lightest and strongest on the market:

They are $229, and we have them in stock.

Looks like the H-Sports are shipping today!

Should have everything I need for install in the next couple of weeks.

What kind of camber (F & R) and toe do people recommend for aggressive street / occasional track?

I'm thinking -2.0 on the front and -1.2 in the rear?
