Hard to believe it's been 3 years already, and Lizzie's lease is up in less than 3 months. So I ordered Vickie on Saturday. Pretty much similar configuration, only in Lightning Blue.

Now the wait begins, but will be less painful this time because:

1. I already have a MINI Cabrio to drive until delivery,
2. I've given myself plenty of time for unexpected things to go wrong (like the wrong wheels being put on in the factory)
3. I don't have a trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway planned shortly after delivery.

Psyched.

 

Congrats. Staying with Mini brand is cool. Any reason you just don't buy yours at the end of the lease.

Turns out she's on the Bess steaming out of Halifax and on her way to Jersey City to arrive on the 14th.
